Hi, I’m Lucy. I am originally from Plymouth and recently joined the team at Simple Solar after spending the last few years travelling and working abroad. Outside of work I love being by the sea and spending time outdoors in the sun.

Rosie Ashley

Rosie brings a thoughtful and people-focused approach to the work she does. Collaboration, a keen eye for detail and problem solving help Rosie deliver work that is impactful and authentic.

Outside of work, Rosie enjoys early morning workouts, taking her kids to football and travelling back north to spend time with friends and family.

Tanya Harris

At Simple Solar, Tanya is here to make your journey simple, easy and enjoyable. As Customer Relationship Manager, she supports customers throughout the process, helping with questions and making sure everyone feels valued and well looked after.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys spending time with family, catching up with friends and trying new places to eat and drink.

Anne Pike

Hi, I’m Anne. I moved from telecommunications into solar — ironic really, because I still spend most of my day talking. I love getting to know customers and helping design the best solar setup for their home.

I’m also very particular about the finer details, making sure every system is planned to suit the customer’s needs.

Rick Jarvis

Hi, I’m Rick. I started my journey in renewables as a retrofit surveyor before making the move into solar & ASHP. My experience gave me a solid understanding of how homes work, which helps me recommend solutions that are practical, effective, and tailored to each property. I love helping homeowners make sense of renewable energy and finding systems that really work for them. Fair warning though, once I get talking about solar, it can be hard to stop.

Dave Hopwood

Dave ran his own plumbing and heating company for 35 years and is now looking towards semi-retirement, so Dan — his son — twisted his arm to help with the heat pumps.

Dave has been fitting heat pumps since they first came out, so he is our go-to guy.

John Doyle

John is the most senior member of our crew, but still one of the most agile. He has just the right amount of cheeky and is always ready to do those awkward jobs that no one else likes.

Ryan Hartland

Ryan has been working in roofing and solar for over 5 years and loves transforming awkward roofs into clean installs customers are proud of.

Usually fuelled by coffee, milk and two, he is known for attention to detail, a good sense of humour, and probably leaving your roof tidier than when he arrived.

Josh Lewis

Hi, I’m Josh. My main goal is always to make the experience straightforward, stress-free and genuine from the first conversation to the finished install.

I try to keep things simple and easy to understand. If you ever have any questions, I’d be happy to answer.

James Davies

Originally from Cornwall but recently moved to Plymouth, James is dad to three boys, including twins. He has been an electrician for 11 years and has heaps of experience installing solar and heat pumps.

James is very fussy and would describe himself as a bit of a perfectionist.

Darren Lester

Darren is a recent addition to the company, coming from a long background of varied electrical installations with a passion for renewables.

He is a proud father to one boy, keen guitarist and songwriter.

Casey Lakey

Hi, I’m Casey. I’m new to the industry and keen to learn as much as I can while building a service people can rely on.

Outside of work, I’m usually spending time with my family or with my girlfriend.
