CHANNEL PARK, PLYMOUTH
A compact solar PV installation designed to help a Plymouth customer reduce their carbon footprint and generate more of their own electricity.
The brief
The customer at Channel Park was motivated by a desire to go green. They wanted a simple, practical solar installation that would help them make better use of renewable energy at home while supporting long-term savings.
We installed a 5-panel, 2.2kW solar PV system on the east-facing roof, making use of the area that receives the strongest morning sunlight.
The result
The system is expected to generate around 2,374kWh per year. Its east-facing placement helps capture morning solar energy efficiently and gives the customer a practical way to reduce grid reliance.
With an estimated payback period of 7 years, the Channel Park installation is a strong step towards a more sustainable home and long-term energy savings.
