LITTLE FANCY CLOSE, PLYMOUTH
An in-roof solar and PowerVault battery installation designed to support an electric van, improve storage, and make smarter use of generated energy.
The brief
At Little Fancy Close, the customer wanted to take advantage of their electric van and the PowerVault AI system to generate a small income. They needed a system that could look good, store energy efficiently, and support smart charge and discharge cycles.
We installed a 14-panel, 5.67kW in-roof solar PV system paired with a 5.8kWh PowerVault P5 all-in-one unit, combining the inverter and battery in one compact system.
The result
The finished system is expected to generate around 5,168kWh per year. The in-roof design gives the installation a clean aesthetic, while the PowerVault unit helps optimise energy usage and storage.
With AI smart charge and discharge cycles, the system is designed to provide financial benefits while helping the customer make better use of their own solar power. With a payback period of 5 years and 2 months, the customer is seeing quick returns on their investment.
“The process was simple from start to finish, everything ran smoothly and the end result is fantastic! I couldn’t believe how much my energy bill dropped in just the first month.” — Mr Edworthy
